The Helix bed has a very austere industrial look. Square tube is used for the frames of the 52" HB and the 32" FB, with a twist in the center of the top rails adding just a touch of whimsy. The round spindles are locked in place as the straddle two square rails with a small dough-boy knob resting over the castings. The design is plain and simple, but striking. The finish is Copper Chrome , an amalgam of copper, silver and black - giving the bed the look of unfinished steel from a distance. It's a great contemporary design.
